A collective wine bar, tasting room, working winery and cidery, Riggers Loft is home to principal owners R&B Cellars, as well as guest wineries Carica Wines, Wachira Wines, Prima Materia, Barrel + Ink, and Far West Cider Company.
This historic building that once played a vital role in building the Liberty and Victory ships of World War II is now a working winery and cidery, with a comfortable tasting room, abundant windows, and a stunning, panoramic view of the San Francisco skyline and beyond. It is chic with a gritty urban feel that reflects the building's history and showcases history-in-the-making on San Francisco Bay.
Riggers Loft has become the Bay Area’s go-to event venue! Riggers Loft is the perfect place to say “I do” or to celebrate your special event. Events large and small are welcome!

As musicians and winemakers, owners Kevin and Barbara Brown have fulfilled a longtime dream to create a working winery and wine bar/tasting room that resounds with live music, is inviting and comfortable, and encourages people to discover new wines while relaxing with friends over delicious food, wine and cider. The idea of a collective was particularly resonant to them, creating a wine destination where people can try many different wines in different styles. In short, Kevin and Barbara created a unique wine experience.
