Riggers Loft is the East Bay’s go-to location for wine, relaxation and music. The extraordinary Bay views are the backdrop to this comfortable meeting place where locals far and wide come to relax with friends over wine, cider, food, live music and other regular events.
A collective wine bar, tasting room, working winery and cidery, it is home to principal owners R&B Cellars, as well as Carica Wines, and Far West Cider Company.
This historic building that once played a vital role in building the Liberty and Victory ships of World War II is now a working winery and cidery with a comfortable tasting room and a stunning, panoramic view of the San Francisco skyline and beyond. It is chic with a gritty urban feel that reflects the building's history and showcases history-in-the-making on San Francisco Bay.
The “long and winding road” along Canal Blvd. to Riggers Loft is well worth the effort. Once you step inside the winery you will have arrived at a place where you will want to stay. Enjoy food from a rotating group of exciting food trucks. Come tasting with your pooch as Riggers Loft welcomes canines!
Kevin and Barbara Brown
Owners and Winemakers, R&B Cellars and Riggers Loft Wine Company
As musicians and winemakers, owners Kevin and Barbara Brown have fulfilled a longtime dream to create a working winery and wine bar/tasting room that resounds with live music, is inviting and comfortable, and encourages people to discover new wines while relaxing with friends. The idea of a collective was particularly resonant to them, creating a wine destination where people can try many different wines in different styles. In short, Kevin and Barbara created a unique wine experience.
It’s wine country in your backyard!
